INTRODUCTION

My name is Alex Coleman. I’m from Metairie and currently living in LaPlace because of my mom’s job. I’m 14 and I attend the STEM program in St. John Parish, but I am considered a student at East St. John high school. Currently, I am a student-athlete on the football team and I also plan on playing baseball.

Goals as a STUDENT-ATHLETE in highschool and college

I want to graduate high school, with honors, with at least a 30 ACT score. I also plan on playing varsity baseball and football. I want to play collegiate sports and would like to earn an athletic scholarship in state,l. My goal is to major in engineering and get a job in engineering, but my first goal is to make it as a Major League Baseball player (MLB).

How I plan on ACCOMPLISHING my Goals

I can achieve my goals by playing sports year round, keeping my grades up, and consistently taking the ACT. That same dedication will hopefully follow me throughout highschool, into college and lead me into Major League Baseball (MLB).
