INTRODUCTION

My name is Kenric Johnson and I am 13 years old.  I am from LaPlace, LA and I attend Riverside Academy, which is in Reserve, LA.  I’m in the 7th grade and the youngest of 4.  I come from a two parent household and I am a kind hearted person, unique, respectful, and positive.  I play basketball and football for my school.  I have been playing football since I was 5 years old.

My Goals as a student-athlete

My dream is to graduate from high school, attend college and become one of the best athletes to play any sport.  I want to be able to give back to my community and be a mentor to others who look up to me.  After graduating from high school and college, I will play professionally.  As a mentor, I would like to be a leader of as many kids as possible.  Another goal of mine is to be able to provide for my family.  I would also like to have my own football training center, and my own football league.

How I plan on accomplishing my goals 

First, I put the LORD first in everything I do. I do not and will not allow my attitude to get in the way of my dreams and goals. I will remain focus at all times and work on my mindset. I will write down my goals, so they can motivate me to work even harder. When distractions come my way, I use them as motivation and try to learn from them. I also plain on writing down all of my dreams and goals, so I can see them. That will help remain calm and stay on the right track and path that I am on.
